SANTA ANA, Calif., April 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), the world’s largest wholesale technology distributor and a global leader in supply-chain and mobile device lifecycle services, today announced it has entered into a strategic sourcing and integrated supply chain services agreement with the 360 Group, a consortium of four of Verizon Wireless’ largest national dealers including A Wireless, Diamond Wireless, Go Wireless and Moorehead Communications (dba as TCC). “As we searched for a partner with a broad portfolio of vertically integrated services, Ingram Micro Mobility was the clear leader in terms of scale, stability, reputation and end-to-end capabilities,” stated John Salisbury, COO of Go Wireless. “The right supply of the right mobile devices, when and where needed, is crucial to exceeding our customers’ expectations, as well as our growth targets. We’re confident Ingram Micro Mobility’s expertise will effectively and efficiently lead to greater customer satisfaction.”
“The addition of Ingram’s industry-leading relationships and supply chain expertise ideally positions us to differentiate ourselves in the highly competitive wireless retail environment, enabling us to deliver a potent combination of revenue growth and superior customer service,” said Scott Shanks, CMO of Moorehead Communications.
Ingram Micro president, North America Mobility Bashar Nejdawi commented, “This is an excellent partnership which will benefit both Ingram Micro Mobility and 360 Group as we bring our highly complementary competencies together.
